...make me so sore! Orlando was good times. We met with our friend and gave him some of Dad's ashes. He's going to take them all around Estonia one last time before burying them in the Hero's Cemetery. A fitting end, if you ask me.

While in Orlando, we took Jon to Sea World for the first time. I got to ride the Manta, their newest roller coaster. Not only is it inverted, your flat on your stomach, facing the ground. It was hard core. XD We watched a bunch of silly shows and fawned over the puffin exhibit. Penguins, eat your heart's out. Puffins are the best birds ever! :P

Next weekend I'm going with Alina and the girls back to Orlando, for one day, to see the one and only Fat Chance Belly Dance. OMG! Until then, I have a lot of work on my plate. :p Dreamweaver hates me, and it's slowly disobeying me one function at a time. *rips hair out* GOING TO BED before I beat the keyboard to death.

Jon's Mom (with her two dogs) is staying with us for a few days while her apartment complex is fumigated.

She said something mean about someone I care about, so Jon got into an argument with her. Surprise surprise. The argument is on the topic of "whether or not she means what she says when she speaks without thinking."

During said argument she threatened to kill herself via overdose.

One more comment like that and I'm calling Suicide Prevention to send an officer to come pick her up. Jon reminded her why she shouldn't say things like that around me and she didn't give a shit. I'm out of tolerance.

So I've been working on this website thingy for Alina, the super sweet director of Lotus. Pardon the mess while I figure out how to build a website.

It needed a face lift. Her old one is getting crazy hits but her school isn't getting any new business. I guess South Florida folks just don't want to send their kids to class after glancing at this when the local competition is this. The colors, Duke, THE COLORS! Belly motions is trying to sell with too much boobage for my taste. Then again, I like Tribal, which is what drew me to Lotus despite the website. Now I'm just waiting on the girls to start sending their bio's and pictures.

Today would have been my Dad's birthday... something I really didn't need to think about, but a mysterious stranger sent an e-mail to tell me so. Apparently they knew him. They want to know what happened too him, but I really don't know what do say.

I think I'll work on arts till I figure that out.

I'm done nitpicking this thing to death. Here's my Texas Fat-tail Dragon for the deck.

I actually have a pending art dump for once in a long time. Yes that includes commissions/trades that are overdue.

After redoing the whole thing, I think I fixed the problem with my website! XD XD XD It was ONLY working in Firefox before and I couldn't figure out where I had gone wrong.

Please do me a favor and try accessing www.dragondust.com in all of your browsers! I wanna know how the sight looks/behaves on different servers and different computers.

This is why I should not be allowed to play with code. :p Thank you!

EDIT:
Firefox:
7 working | 0 broken
Netscape:
1 working | 0 broken
Internet Explorer:

Safari:

Opera:

And AOL on a Mac too. WOO! Thank you so much for helping me test the site. I'm ecstatic to hear that it's working in other browsers now. It has officially been worth the effort of redoing the whole thing. ^^ Thank you thank you thank you!

Anybody out there interested in a previously read but still new condition copy of the just released MEG: Hell's Aquarium? I ran out and snagged a copy when I heard that Barnes & Noble had released it a week early. They had no paperback copies so I bought the hardcover edition. I paid $27.95 plus some odd tax for it, but I'm offering it up for $15.

Honestly, it's chock-full of action, suspense, dismemberment and Megalodon vs. Giant prehistoric sea reptile goodness, but I wasn't as thrilled with the story as I was with the first two books. A lot of other people liked it so I guess it's all a mater of taste (LAWL!). :)

Two covers were released. One with the sharks head looking straight at the viewer and the other with the sharks head in profile. My copy is the one in profile.

Just thought I'd ask on LJ before offering it up on Amazon.

Holy opposable thumbs Batman!

The production quality of the video feels a little "Hollywood." But I guess that's just the style documentaries have been leaning toward to get people's attention now-a-days. "Hey LOOK! SCIENCE! *flail* I'm interesting, PLEASE LOOK AT ME!"

What do you guys think about all this? Personally, this has my curiosity piqued. If only I had cable, I'd love to watch the special.

This tops my list of strange ways I've found one of my pictures being used.

Tangled up in blue.

Also, is it just me or have people been vanishing from the face of the internet? It seems awfully quiet for some reason. Convention maybe?

Hey guys! :D I just entered a really cool contest. If I get enough page views on my youtube trailer for Hell's Aquarium I could be one of the five people to be written into the fifth MEG book! And maybe even eaten by a shark in said book!

MEG: Hell's Aquarium Trailer

OMG, please spread the link around if you would. (No, I did not make the trailer.)

I wanted to get these posted last night, but I got dragged into a Naxxramus run and fell asleep. ^^ SO, here are the requested pictures from this post.

Pictures you requested )

Also, it may not look like me, but I got a photo of my self portrait hanging at the Tate's show.

It's charcoal on wood and really tiny, 3"x4". They thanked me for bringing them something small and easy. Most of the stuff in the show was at the maximum size. None-the-less it was an awesome show and I was honored to be a part of it. :)
